Un-Physical Modelling
Physical modelling? Hmm. If I want realism, I'll just use a sampling lib.
This here is SYMBIONT: un-physical modelling.
We're explorers, we're looking for sonic adventures, aren't we?
What is this?
You can't understand this now, but as soon as you play with Symbiont you will intuitively get it. You will immediately see: this sound is harmonic, but also sweet, acoustic and
organic.
And this particular sound depicted here: you will love it!
Expressive
Imho the downside of physical modelling is "physical". I want to make sounds, I don't want to study equations. For playing my bassoon I also do not need to understand the physics of its
tone production.
SYMBIONT is an instrument by Dawesome, that means:
- it is intuitive and fun
- it is expressive
- it sounds organic

I originally planned to release the plugin in March. But then I had some ideas on how to make it even better. And even more expressive.
And then I thought: this is so awesome, I have to show what you can do with it. So I’m going to start a YouTube channel. And I’m just now starting to explore the sonic potential myself.
That’s why you can’t buy the instrument yet.
But I can tell you when it will be released: when I decide it’s ready.
And not a single day sooner. Sorry.
